About the Authors:

Rama Rao Nadendla is the Principal of Chalapathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Autonomous), Guntur, and also serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. He earned a Gold Medal in B.Pharmacy from Gulbarga University in 2007, completed his M.Pharmacy with distinction from BITS Pilani, and holds a Ph.D. from JNTU Hyderabad. With 33 years of teaching and research experience, He has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical and drug delivery sciences, focusing on overcoming critical challenges and enhancing therapeutic effectiveness. His scholarly impact is reflected in over 4791 citations, an h-index of 33, and an i10 index of 112 on Google Scholar. He has authored 20 books and book chapters and has been granted 10 patents, published 60 patents with four additional patents filed. His extensive publication record includes over 619 research papers in reputable journals, making him a prominent figure in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. His contributions have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the APTI Special Appreciation Award in 2023 for his outstanding contribution to the pharmacy profession, the Lifetime Achievement Award by APTI-AP State Branch in 2023, and the Best Principal Award from the Anti-Viral Research Society in 2023. Additionally, Acharya Nagarjuna University honored him with the Best Patent Award in 2023. He was awarded a best Research Paper Award in 2018 from Sun Pure Research Incubation Centre. He is also recipient of Prof ML Khorana Memorial Award in 2001 for Best Research Paper from IJPSC. He is recipient of AP Govt. Best Teacher Award, APTI Principal Award, APTI Special Appreciation Award, APAPTI life time Time Achievement Award, Best Principal Award from Antiviral Research Award.

            He also plays an active role in academic publishing as the Chief Editor of the ANU Journal of Pharmaceutical Technology and Research and serves on the editorial boards of the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Excipients and The Pharma Review. His dedication to research and education has established him as a leading authority in the pharmaceutical sciences.
